I just returned from an intensive study in Chicago at the Holiest site of Comedy in all the land. The Second City! It was absolutely amazing and blew away my expectations. I learned and played so much in a short time and was able to see several shows that were so f'n good. I am forever grateful to the masters . #inAVanDownByTheRiver I can talk about it now! I'm the IT guy for the Washington Herald on House Of Cards. Such a great experience on set and working with Boris McGiver who is a true professional and an amazing person off screen. It was an honor to be directed by an Oscar nominee in this amazing heart pounding drama. The whole crew and cast were great to work with and BS' with between takes.
HOUSE OF CARDS Season 5: Ep. 11 Chapter 63 Director: Agnieszka Holland The Ghost will be playing out of competition at The International Mockumentary festival "On Vous Ment!" in Lyon France. My short mock on Hip Hop's First Stylist will play at Cinema Comoedia on June 4th at 11am. Word!
The Live sketch show "A2Z: Black & White" that I created with my partner Zene Coley has been turned into a TV Pilot. Produced by myself and Chris Sciacco the show changes the stage format to adapt it for TV.... "Race, Equal pay, Guns, Relationships, Status, Economics . A2Z: Black & White is a sketch comedy show that deals with the issues no one wants to talk about. Everyone thinks how they see the world is right. It is either Black or White. This show will dive into the grey. The space where the real answers live. Artie Brennan (A) and Zene Coley (Z) are friends , one is Irish American the other is African American, they bring their unique perspective on the hard pressing issues of the times through pre-taped sketches presented to the audience live on stage. It will make you laugh and think"
It is Chappelle Show mixed with John Oliver, seasoned by Fox news & CNN, and topped with SNL & In Living Color. You will Be scared. You will Be educated. You will Laugh I played a super fun supporting role in the feature film "Two Little Bitches" written & directed by my super talented friend Emmy Harrington. The entire crew from top to bottom were women. It just won Best Narrative Feature at The Women's Independent Film Festival..Extremely proud of Emmy, the whole cast, & crew
Watch the amazing film I got to be a part of below! Directed by the cinematic wizard Eddie Lebron and co-written by Eddie, Gary Lee Mahmoud and myself. This comedy was such a blast to make! "Dad Day" the 6 episode comedy series I worked on for BRICTV was released toady online and the first episode will screen on television tonight. DAD DAY (2016) You can watch here: DAY DAY
How long does it take to become a real New Yorker? Some say 10 years, but for Craig and James, the answer is never. They were beat in while others bought in. Dad Day follows Craig and James as they deal with the modern dilemmas of fatherhood and friendship in their continually gentrifying city. The guys are set on making sure James’ son Henry is raised like an authentic New Yorker and they spend each episode exploring and trying to instill in Henry the virtues of being raised like a real New York kid. But what happens when the place your from, ain’t the place your from no more? I have been nominated for Best Actor in a short film at The Maverick Movie Awards. I am excited and very proud of the work everyone did on the film "In For Business". The film played at The Coney Island Film Festival two weeks ago to a sold out enthusiastic crowd that really dug the flick.
Principal photography just wrapped on the series "Dad Day". I play James, the lead character, who is trying to raise his son as the last true Brooklyn kid with an authentic accent. (Me & my film son "Henry" in the pic) The shooting schedule was insane and totally worth it. I had a blast with the cast and crew shooting in every nook and cranny of Crookland. I got to work with some really talented people on both sides of the camera, play a great character, and add some jokes. I already miss my "kid" and the BK Dudes. Bric Arts will be releasing the show some time in the fall
I booked a role in the feature "SISTER" written & directed by the amazing Emmy Harrington. I played the comic relief in this drama that was crewed by an all female kick ass team. My character was the lead actor's stoner friend. Look out for this one at festivals when its done! I performed an original character (D.A.R.E. Officer Dale Bennigan) in the comedy show Dynamite! Presents: Character Blastoff at The PIT. The show was put together by the team at the hottest new iPhone app, Dynamite! Very Very cool show put together by J.W. Crump. Everyone did a great job, some of the comedians came in from Philly and it was cool to meet them and see there performances. My character worked well and got laughs and groans (my favorite). I will definitely pull him out in the future.

This is gonna be amazenuts! -I will be performing in two live sketch shows at the PIT coming up at the end of the month with Hot Buffett and with Started From The Bottom I performed several characters including the main man JC in "Started From The Bottom" at the UCB Chelsea. Here is a link to a pre-tape from the live show (My favorite sketch of the night- Rosetta Stone Hip Hop) Re-Shoots just wrapped on "The Bussiness Trip". I have been working on this film for a few months. It is a trip jam written by Dan Florio. I play a country mouse who works in sales & My big meeting in the city goes horribly wrong. The Last Jews & Reviews Live show at The People's Improv Theater involved me playing Yoda and steering the audience to the ultimate showdown of the light and dark. (And some very dark jokes) The web series I have been working on dropped this month just in time for Halloween. I Wrote and directed the 3rd episode "Uncle Sal's". I acted in the second episode "Steve" and produced the series. It is a great spooky collection of four short stories that encompass different genres of the Horror world. Links for the episodes are below. Check out the whole series at Disturbances.tv UNCLE SAL'S STEVE I got to work on a sketch on SNL the live show and it was amazing! Being there for rehearsal and the live show was one of the greatest experiences ever I performed with with the amazing group Hot Buffet for the third time in the past two months. This time it was at NYC's premiere sketch comedy festival at The PIT NYC. Last year I performed with my group The Grape Dutches of York who are currently on hiatus. The show was sold out and we were billed with Sketchworks out of Atlanta. The Hot' Lanta crew killed and I had a blast pausing for laughter as I played with my friends.
I booked a role on season two of Showtime's hit show The Affair. Great crew and really nice, fun actors to play with during a hectic scene..Getting used to chillin' in a trailer!
American Genius aired last week starting with the episode Jobs vs. Gates, The episode I worked on! It was a great show and really kept me entertained and I learned allot. I had an absolute ball getting to play Paul Allen the co-founder of Microsoft and it was great to see it air. I just worked on a new web series called TRASH! It is an improvised sketch/talk show staring myself and the multi talented comedian Joshua Sankey. We met after being cast on The Onion Sports Dome for Comedy Central & were cast in a commercial last month together again. Look for it soon or your Trash! I shot a commercial for the web therapy company In Your Corner. This was such a fun shoot with an amazing group of people on both sides of the camera. Hayden5 media were the masterminds and I was called in directly by Eliza Kahn from Amy Gossels casting.....They cut the part were I was covered in blood but hopefully one day we can all see that version!

I also wrote and directed an episode of this amazing series that will be out around Halloween 2015! -Did a spot for GMA playing a crew member who has a bad back. Got to work with this little fella by the ladder.

My sketch group, "The Grape Dutches Of York", had a sold out run of our full length play Enchantment Park: 3D & 4D at The People's Improv Theater (The P.I.T.). We will be returning for a week run in January with this play we wrote and produced. I play several of the main characters including Mr. Holland (Richard Dreyfus) in a journey through a demented theme park. I performed in the NYC Sketch Festival (IFC), filmed a guest star spot on the web series GigaHoes, and I have performed in several shows at NYC's comedy theaters. Rodney Dangerfield! I played Rodney at a show in Brooklyn and it was one of the most fun shows I have ever done. Lot of interaction with the crowd, Rodney jokes, and too soon heckling! -I was cast in the film "Second Chance". It is produced by 2x4 productions. Principal photography begins in the fall. Super pumped! -The Grape Dutches' 4d show "Enchantment Park" will debut at the off broadway theater The PIT. (voted best comedy theater by Time out NY).
