Artie Brennan is an award winning actor and comedian from NYC.
Artie studied drama at NYU, Iona College, and with Joanna Beckson at her private studio. He honed his improv & sketch comedy skills at TheSecond City (Chicago), and The Upright Citizen's Brigade (NYC) under founders Matt Walsh (Veep) and Ian Roberts (Key & Peele).

He won Best Actor for the dark thriller "In For Business" at the Best Shorts Competition and was nominated for Best Actor at The Maverick Movie Awards.
Artie wrote and developed the live NYC comedy show "A2Z: Black & White" into a tv pilot with Zene Coley. The pilot earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the NYCTV Fest and The Hip Hop Film Festival. His script was also nominated at the Top Indie Film Awards.

Artie is the co-creator and co-star of "TheSuper Crazy Funtime Show", a TimeOut NY and AMNY critic's pick for best comedy show in NYC. The Off-Broadway show was the first Live indoor event to open NYC after the pandemic and was featured on NY1. Super Crazy Funtime was nominated for 6 Off-Broadway Awards by Broadway World and shorts from the show have been featured on Funny Or Die.

Live and filmed sketch comedy is where he is most at home, working on every major stage in NYC (UCB, PIT, CAVEAT, CREEK AND THE CAVE, ASYLUM NYC, BROADWAY COMEDY CLUB, BROOKLYN COMEDY COLLECTIVE and more) Artie is a founding member of the sketch house team Steve's Hard Milk at The People's Improv Theater. He has also performed improv in over 100 shows with The Red Tie Mafia in a dank, stank basement theater on Manhattan's west side.
As a writer/director Artie's project "Gowanus Galapagos", a nature mockumentary, was a top ten pick in National Geographic's Wild to Inspire. The comedy was picked up by Brooklyn On Demand.
His film "Snuffalafaghost:Hip Hop's First Stylist"won the Audience Choice Award at the Inaugural Hip Hop Film Festival in NYC. The short also played at The Alamo Drafthouse in Texas and The Glory Cinema Club in Paris, France.
Artie's short parody "#Nomadland" debuted in London at The Daftas,won Best Short Comedy at the Virgin Spring Cinefest, and won Best Parody at Night Of Comedy Shorts in Italy.
"Daytrip Massacre" (co-writer/director) a parody of 70's/80's slasher films won Best Horror Comedy at The Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival, Best Cast & Audience Choice Award at The Alternative Film Festival, Best Dark/Horror Comedy at Atlanta's All The Laughs Comedy Awards, and Best Comedic Horror Short Film of the year at The Tabloid Witch Awards.
